How do I book a session?

Email us or call 301-979-9121 & we’ll be happy to set up a consultation either in person or over the phone so we can discuss all of your options and guide you into choosing the best session for you.
How many images will I receive?

Each session type has the amount of images received.
If you need more, well that is negotiable!
Where are you based?

We are based in Frederick Maryland.
However, we do travel!
Do you travel?

Yes! We travel a lot, so check with us as we might be coming to an area near you!
Overseas? Our passports are ready!
What is your turnaround time?

Usually within 3-4 weeks depending on the time of year.
Do you shoot indoors or outdoors?

Both, Almodóvar Images does most of the boutique/formal sessions in our studio where we can control the lighting and the beautiful gowns will not get dirty.
To keep our sessions from looking exactly the same, we head out on location – being out on location also gives us a chance to “ENJOY” the moment . . . letting our surroundings inspire us and keeps us on our creative toes. We love natural light and the way textures respond to that light, can completely transform an ordinary image into something amazing.
What happens if it rains?

Sometimes, it rains (especially in the Spring), and even we have not been able to control the weather …. yet. Depending on how bad the rain is or if it is just passing, we will either wait it out if that works for us or we will re-schedule your session for another day/time. If you’re booking in the summer months, a shower or sprinkle may be very welcoming. However, if you are booking a BEACH session, keep in mind that it is usually always windy at the beach, and can sometimes be cloudy there as well.
What locations will we shoot?

That depends . . . on the type of session you book, as well as where YOU want to shoot! Bring your ideas, text, email, call, please let us know. This experience is all about YOU. Almodóvar Images wants you to feel happy and comfortable in your photos . . . we can shoot just about anywhere, if there are permits involved, it would be best to determine the location ahead of time. If you don’t have any ideas, don’t worry – We’ll come up with something awesome.
* Additional travel fees apply for any locations outside of 30 miles of Frederick, MD (21704). .
Who else can come?

If you are under 18! A parent MUST attend the session with you – if Mom or Dad drive you crazy or nervous, that’s ok… they can hang out in the car or read a book while we are shooting, but you must have a parent attend. Who knows, this might be great bonding time for you guys! You will either follow us or meet at the location. We know you may want to bring your best friend - well we have Senior Sessions designed for two or more. So if we did not schedule that session, then please do NOT ask your friends to attend. They will just have to wait for your sneak peaks!!!
Can someone else take pictures of me at the same time?

No, cameras (other than mobile devices) are prohibited on shoots due to copyrights. Poses and shots that are used for copyrighted images may not be photographed. You are welcome to take some selfies to remember the experience! We will even get in a selfie with you.
