happy birthday marines
We had the honor of attending the Commandant’s Marine Corps Birthday Ball again this year. I don’t take these opportunities for granted, because every year I have attended this event I find myself in tears. Tears because the stories shared by our fellow Marines are so familiar as I remember living them once upon a time. I feel every emotion of pride, joy and sorrow.

There are days during the ' daily grind ', that I forget what makes Luis respond or behave the way he does. However, when you find yourself in a room of 1000 plus Marines you remember! I am reminded of the character, unwavering strength and leadership within these men and women.
