Veterans day salute

Today is Veterans Day! A day to honor and thank all military personnel who have served the United States. 

Luis and I know first hand the sacrifices our fellow Veterans make every day and we thank you! Because of those unselfish sacrifices, we wake up each day grateful for our lives. And more importantly, how we get to live it.

Many businesses are doing their part to show their appreciation. Most offering Veterans free meals or discounts as a way of saying thank you!

Luis and I know that discounts and free meals are small gestures that mean a lot. If you can take advantage of these discounts, now is a great time. 

This year we purchased an Airstream Globetrotter, and qualified for a discount Airstream is currently offering Veterans and First Responders. We truly appreciated Colonial Airstream dealership for recognizing Luis’ service and letting us know of this discount. 

Our Globetrotter purchase was our way to decompress from the stresses from our daily work schedules. As often as we can, you will find us loaded up and headed out somewhere. We love to travel and ‘The Beacon’(we named our travel trailer after The Hotel Beacon where we met) is our hotel on wheels, so we take her most places.
